Snappy Shopper is the market leader in the growing Q-commerce convenience grocery sector, worth £41b in the UK. Our technology platform allows retailers to open their store to thousands of new customers, increasing their revenue and margins. And our home delivery service means their customers can have their groceries delivered in as little as 30 minutes.
We serve independent retailers right through to most of the major convenience store players, including Spar, Nisa, Premier and Booker. Snappy Shopper exists to enable local high street businesses to serve their customers online so that local communities thrive, and revenue stays local.
Our Location
We are a Scottish start-up with 120 colleagues based around the UK with offices is in Dundee and Edinburgh.
In this role you’ll mainly be on-the-road, spending time face-to-face with our Retailers.
About the Role
This is an exciting role within our Growth function where you’ll work largely autonomously, like a mini-CEO, to grow GMV in your Region.
As a Regional Growth Manager, you’ll develop deep market understanding in your assigned regions, build trust with retailers, and identify opportunities to increase market share and value. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll help deliver better consumer and retailer outcomes while driving Snappy Group’s business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse regional dynamics, including consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and retail conditions, to identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, adding value to their businesses while fostering autonomy and self-management.
- Identify and onboard new retailers, tailoring strategies to specific markets and communicating effectively to drive buy-in and increase sales.
- Establish systems to measure and track retailer performance, using key metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve retailer challenges, ensure smooth handovers, and enhance Snappy Shopper’s value proposition.
- Maintain consistent, clear, and actionable communication with both retailers and internal stakeholders.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- A strong understanding of the retail market and proven experience in developing effective sales and marketing strategies.
- A growth mindset and the ability to adapt strategies to regional challenges and opportunities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in B2B contexts.
- The ability to manage KPIs and business metrics, including handling challenging conversations.
- Strong communication skills—succinct, impactful, and tailored to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional rapport-building skills with a variety of stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously while contributing to team success.
